The Practice Manager manages all of the business aspects of the Practice such as making sure that the right systems and the right people are in place, at the right time, in order to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises, equipment and IT (information technology). The Practice Manager supports the Admin Team, GPs and other medical professionals to deliver patient services and also helps to develop extended services, enhancing patient experience and care.
Our Medical Receptionists all have an important role in supporting you to access the care you need.
The information that you give to our team helps the GPs to plan their workload for the day. This means that patients in the greatest need are dealt with first. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the surgery is initially providing telephone consultations to patients and they will phone you back for a fuller discussion about your condition.
Our Reception team will not make clinical decisions and have had training to help patients get to the most appropriate service. They are also bound by the same patient confidentiality principles as our clinical staff.
